Consumer Groups Which? The UK’s most unliked new car is the Alpine A110, as stated by a survey of over 50,000 drivers conducted by .
The French sports car attained a customer score of 60%, with drivers categorizing it as “rather aggravating to drive” and a “highly destructible” vehicle.
Despite being the fifth most sought-after car in September 2023, with sales data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) revealing its popularity, the MG ZS only scored 68%.

The Fiat 500 (2008-), Audi A3 Salon (2020-), and Citroën C3 (2017-) also finished in the bottom five, obtaining customer scores of 70%, 71%, and 74% respectively.

But what about the vehicles we adore?
Toyota’s (7203.T) RAV4 plug-in hybrid secured first place with a score of 95%.
One driver described the Japanese SUV as “smooth and comfortable to drive, with very good acceleration”. It was also hailed as “extremely economical”, with drivers paying more attention to it amidst the cost of living crisis. Its retail price stands at approximately £42,500.
The Superb Estate (2015) by Skoda clinched the position of the country’s second-favorite vehicle with a customer score of 93%. The model carries an average price just below £30,000.
Overall, Asian manufacturers prevailed in terms of customer scores, with Japanese and South Korean models consistently occupying the top five. Honda (7267.T) Jazz Crossstar (2020-), KIA (000270.KS) The EV6 (2021-), and Mazda (7261.T) MX-5 Convertible (2015-) all received 92 customer scores.
