In this instance, Depor will instruct you on how to activate the “split view” mode, also referred to as “dual view”. This setting allows you to view your contact list on the left and your conversation window on the right while engaging in individual or group conversations, offering a seamless experience on your tablet.

One advantage of this mode is that it allows you to monitor incoming messages from other contacts while engaged in a conversation, leading to a more visually organized and appealing interface for the application.

  • Start by ensuring that there are no pending updates for WhatsApp on your Android tablet via the Google Play Store.
  • Next, open WhatsApp on your smartphone, then tap the three-dot icon to reveal various options.
  • Select the one labeled “Linked devices” and proceed to “Pair device”.
  • You will likely be prompted to authenticate with your fingerprint, followed by the requirement to scan a QR code using your device’s camera.
  • Open the WhatsApp application on your tablet, where you will encounter the QR code to be scanned using your smartphone.
  • Upon completion, allow the messaging platform to load your messages, and the “Split View” will be enabled.
