The fifth film may seem unnecessary to some, but the same sentiment was shared upon the announcement of the fourth film. And finally, toy story 4 was a hit at the box office, not only this, but Pixar flick is critically acclaimed, especially for a story that, while perhaps some moviegoers didn’t feel they needed, was one worth telling and a worthy successor to the previous installments. So maybe the internet’s opinion will change when they finally see the next flick in the series.
No plot details are known about the upcoming flick as of now. but even though we’ve already seen Farewell to Woody and Buzz twiceWell, it appears that Tim Allen, at least, will be returning to voice Lightyear. Of course, the series could introduce a plethora of new characters and explore their adventures as well, but at the moment, we can only speculate.
