This year’s Super Bowl was a pretty great game as far as they go, tied 35 to 35 until the final seconds, when the Kansas City Chiefs ran down the clock and kicked a final field goal for the win. I guess this means that for the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans, this wasn’t such a great Super Bowl. But for those of us who just wanted to watch a close game, it did the trick.
However, the ads left a lot to be desired. I love breaking bad Popcorners ad (here you go) but I had already seen it, and the version they played during the Big Game was shorter than the one on YouTube. Other than that, nothing really stood out to me. Nothing but an advertisement for DC’s next big movie, Damak.
Honestly, the trailer (above) is quite good, and reminds me that Ezra Miller – for all his crimes – is quite good in this role. Also, I was thrilled to see Michael Keaton’s Batman after so many years. No one says “I am Batman” quite like Keaton:

to get our first glimpse of Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl (played by Sasha Calle, who I almost wore as a female Flash from a different universe before she donned the costume) It was good for

Kara is the first “new” face in the trailer, but we do get a look at Michael Shannon’s General Zod:

And Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne:

maybe dc can pull spider verse And also give us Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson caped crusaders!
In any case, it’s an excellent trailer and I hope James Gunn is right and this really is one of the best superhero movies ever made. I can’t say that DC has earned my good faith, so I’ll keep my expectations in check, even if they’re pretty high when this trailer drops off.
