‘Taito Milestones 2’ is a small collection of classic Taito games.
abide by tato milestones Releases from last year, we now have a follow up collection with ten other classic Taito releases and it’s great to go with it.
This new collection includes ten new Taito games story of new zealand, kiki kakai, Darius 2 (three screen arcade version), gun frontier, ben bero beh, the legend of cage, liquid baby, lone fighter, dynorex And metallic black, This is a huge list of games, but there are a few things to note.
the main thing is Darius II And its massive three screen version. I’ve played this game a lot in arcades in Japan and it’s a shump classic. a big step forward Sectionit laid the real foundation for Section series. With frantic shooting action and vibrant backgrounds and enemies.

it would be very effective to follow metallic blackwhich served as one of the “Beam Battle” inspirations for the Games g-darius, It’s one of the best-remembered shumps from that era and it’s great to include it here.
then you get story of new zealand And kiki kakaiThese are both great games and having them under the banner of a single collection is certainly commendable.
Backing up a bit, it’s also worth pointing out that this collection, while published by ININ Games, is using arcade archive Release from hamster. These are all solid ports and Hamster has a pretty solid track record, not to mention a huge retro game library.
‘The New Zealand Story’ is another welcome addition to this solid collection.
As far as the $39.99 price tag goes, it’s pretty high and your mileage may vary on how much value for money this collection really is. Individually, it includes a lot of great games, so the cost of buying them all individually in this neat little package definitely pales in comparison.
overall, Taito Milestones 2 Follows up well from the first release. It includes even more excellent games and does a good job of condensing Taito’s long and impressive gaming history into a neat little package.
