Tesla conducted a bulletproof test on the electric pickup truck Cybertruck by shooting a Tommy gun at it. Here is what transpired.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!During the initial revelation of the Cybertruck, Tesla claimed that the electric pickup truck was practically impervious to bullets:
The Cybertruck is constructed with an exterior shell for extreme sturdiness and passenger safety. Starting with the nearly impenetrable exoskeleton, to the ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless-steel structural skin to the Tesla armor glass, every component is designed for exceptional strength and endurance.
While the Tesla Armor Glass did not pass the steel ball test at the unveiling event, Tesla is evidently still committed to incorporating some level of bullet resistance into the Cybertruck.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk commented on the sighting, confirming that he had discharged a Tommy gun at the Cybertruck:
We discharged the entire drum magazine of the Tommy gun, driver’s door Al Capone style. No bullet entered the passenger compartment.
While the CEO asserted that no bullets breached the passenger compartment, it seems that they only fired at the steel body panels and not the windows.
Tesla will organize a “delivery event” for the Cybertruck on November 30. The automaker is anticipated to disclose all the specifics about the production version of the electric pickup truck.
Musk has been endorsing the Cybertruck as Tesla’s “finest product ever.”
We can anticipate some information about the Cybertruck’s bulletproof capability or at least a video of this test with a Tommy gun.
