Searching for Tuesday Links hints and answers? They can be found here:
It’s Wednesday, and you know what that signifies: It’s time for another game of connections,
The hints and answers for today’s connections game will be revealed shortly.
how to play connections
In the game of connections, you are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by identifying the links between them. Groups can be categories such as horror film franchises, a genre of music, or famous athletes.
There is only one solution for each puzzle, and when it comes to words that can fit into multiple categories, caution is needed. It might be helpful to rearrange the words to aid in recognizing the connections.
Each group is color coded. The yellow group is typically the easiest to identify, with blue and green falling in between, and the purple group being the most challenging. The purple group often involves word play, so keep that in mind.
Select four words that you believe belong together and submit your answer. If you make an incorrect guess, you will lose a life. If you are close to forming a correct group, a message may appear indicating that you are one word away from being correct, but you still need to figure out the correct word.
If you make four mistakes, the game is over. Let’s ensure that doesn’t happen with the assistance of some pointers, and, if you’re truly struggling, today’s connections answer.

A perfect game is incredibly satisfying, and I achieved one today. I have now won two games in a row.
At first glance, I pondered if there was a connection involving the hyphenated words, but since there are only three of them, that idea was quickly dismissed. I examined the green group first, perhaps because the meal I intend to prepare tonight includes fries. Next came the yellow group, although I would argue that “parasol” would be a more fitting term than umbrella.
Subsequently, the blue words clustered together on half of my screen, making that group easier to identify. This time, I couldn’t discern the connection for the purple group, but it was the only group left for me to solve in order to win.
That concludes today’s connections clues and answers. Don’t forget to visit my blog for hints and solutions for Thursday’s game if you require them.
